Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Recording of the acclaimed epic musical GIANTonline and in stores on May 21, 2013. Performance rights for GIANT will be licensed through R&H Theatricals, a division of Rodgers & Hammerstein, an Imagem Company. Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Recording of the acclaimed epic musical GIANT online and in stores today, May 21, 2013.

The Bahamas, which will host its inaugural pavilion at the 55th International Venice Biennale in 2013, will present Polar Eclipse, a multi-sensory installation by Tavares Strachan that investigates themes of heroic exploration, cultural displacement, oral history, and the shifting of historic narratives over time. Three geographically and culturally disparate sites-the Venice Arsenale, downtown Nassau, and the North Pole-will momentarily coexist in the Bahamian pavilion. The exhibition will exist in two dimensions: as a single, comprehensive installation, and as a collection of individual artworks. Key works will include a 14-channel video, a sound installation, and a selection of neon sculptures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the premium cable network has ordered a pilot based upon Matthew Specktor's just-released novel AMERICAN DREAM MACHINE, with Hall serving as an executive producer.

The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has announced that author and co-director of the Acquavella Gallery Michael Findlay, composer Elliot Goldenthal, filmmaker Mira Nair and visual artist Fred Wilson were inducted into the NYFA Hall of Fame on Tuesday, April 23rd at Espace (635 West 42nd Street). Stage and screen star Michael C. After being injured by a roadside bomb, she is forced to face the reality of covering tragedies in war, and whether reporters should intervene to try to relieve suffering. Time Stands Still will run Thursday, tonight, March 28 through Saturday, April 6, 2013.

MTV will debut the first half of its expanded 20-episode third season of the critically acclaimed series 'Awkward' on Tuesday, April 16 with an hour-long premiere event featuring the first two episodes back-to-back at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Since 2000, the Studio Theatre has hosted the Louise Heck-Rabi Dramatic Playwriting One Act Festival, encouraging young playwrights to submit their original works. Each year, 6-7 semi-finalists are chosen out of all submissions. The plays are then read at a Workshop, where they are critiqued by judges. Three finalists win a scholarship as well as the opportunity to produce their play in front of a live audience. Each winning playwright has a chance to work with a student director and student performers to realize their productions on the stage.

On ELEMENTARY's upcoming episode, titled 'Deja Vu All Over Again,' Joan takes her first solo case: the disappearance of a woman who left her husband a tearful break-up video that mentioned a murder on a subway platform. Meanwhile, Sherlock is intrigued by the subway murder and decides to investigate, on ELEMENTARY, on Thursday, March 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

Marie Curie, the only person, male or female, to win a Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields, a woman who discovered two elements, polonium and radium, and a woman whose personal life was rocked by tragedy and scandal, is the subject of Shirley Lauro's New York premiere drama, The Radiant, beginning previews tonight, February 21, at 8:00pm for an opening Saturday, February 23, at 8:00pm at the Theater at the 14th Street Y, 344 East 14th Street.

The Village Voice, the nation's first and largest alternative weekly newspaper, announced today that esteemed critic and longtime judge of the awards will resume his former position as Obie chairman for the 58th Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards, replacing former Chairman Brian Parks who has moved on from The Village Voice.
