    Friends of Fair Park presents the DR PEPPER SNAPPLE GROUP FAIR PARK FOURTH

    When: Friday July 4, 2008 5 - 10 p.m. Where: Fair Park Dallas, TX THE EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

    Independence Day celebration to rank among America's top 20 fireworks programs featuring spectacular Grucci fireworks, a patriotic program, musical performances, food and more.

    The family-friendly event will feature a state-of-the-art national-class fireworks show by Grucci. The fireworks will be synchronized to choreographed music. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. Viewing areas with sound will be located in the park along the Esplanade, Lagoon, Cotton Bowl Plaza and Big Tex Circle.

    The hour-long patriotic program will begin at 8:15 p.m. and will be held outside the Hall of State.

    There will also be special programming and events at the various Fair Park museums. (FREE ADMISSION TO MUSEUMS FROM 5 - 8 p.m.)

    AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY CAST HELPS NASDAQ RING BELL, 7/3

    Tracy Letts' August: Osage County, winner of five Tony Awards including Best Play, as well as the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, Drama Desk, New York Drama Critics Circle, and Outer Critics Circle Awards will visit The NASDAQ Stock Market on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the NASDAQ MarketSite, 4 Times Square.  Cast members from the show will ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

    A live webcast of the NASDAQ Opening Bell Ceremony will be available from 9:20-9:35 a.m. at: http://www.nasdaq.com/about/marketsitetowervideo.asx

    Directed by Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award Winner Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County is the explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch.

    August: Osage County performs Tuesday-Friday at 7:30PM, Matinees on Wednesday and Saturdays at 2:00PM, Saturdays at 8:00PM and Sundays at 3:00PM.
