A truly multi-talented artist knows no creative boundaries. This is the case with Jason Derulo the Miami-bred 20 year old singer, dancer, songwriter and actor whose smash debut single "Whatcha Say" heralds the arrival of a major new talent. As the flagship artist in the new joint venture deal between Warner Bros. and super-producer J.R. Rotem's label Beluga Heights, Derulo has set his sights high. "I don't want to stay in a box," Derulo says. "I want all the love!" The love shines on Derulo's "Whatcha Say", the single vaulting over the 700,000 download mark at iTunes within weeks of its release. "Whatcha Say" is finger-snapping, futuristic pop R&B, with listeners responding to Derulo's lyrical proclamation "You and me are meant to last forever!".

Trailer Park Boys is a popular Canadian mockumentary that premiered in 2001 focusing on the misadventures of ex-convicts living in fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park which is located near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The show's creator and director is Mike Clattenburg. Shot COPS-style (Cameraman's point of view), the low-budget program became something of a rarity in English Canada: a homegrown phenomenon. Characters, particularly "Bubbles", appear on novelty tee-shirts, the show's lead trio toured with Our Lady Peace, they appeared in a video with The Tragically Hip, and were presenters at numerous award shows - always in character. The show has been a great success for Showcase, where it is the network's highest rated Canadian series. In the United States, BBC America formerly aired a censored version of the show, but it no longer is part of their lineup. The show was filmed in real trailer parks in the Halifax area. Mike Smith (Bubbles), a musician formerly of the band Sandbox, was the sound man during the pilot movie and season one, but became a full time actor when Bubbles became more popular during the second season. Barry Dunn (who is a producer on the show and plays Ray), saw the original production at the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax and thought it would be great on television. Showcase agreed to air the show and the rest is history.
