Seattle Theatre Group (STG) hosts its second annual fundraiser, DOORS: Opening Doors to the Arts on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 6:30pm. DOORS promises to be a fun, informal evening with great food and entertainment to help STG raise $100,000. Proceeds support STG's education and community programs, access to the arts for people of all ages, training and performance opportunities, and the upkeep of the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres.

DOORS features performances by Presidents of the United States of America, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Zakir Hussain, Bill Frisell, Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), the EriAm Sisters as well as highlights from STG's signature education programs DANCE This and More Music @ The Moore. David Crow will emcee the event, with Sharon Friel leading the paddle raise.

"Sometimes opening a door is all it takes to change someone's life and that's what we strive to do every day at Seattle Theatre Group," said Josh LaBelle STG's Executive Director. "Beyond presenting diverse programming at the historic Paramount and Moore theatres, we offer a range of education and community programs designed to support and nurture the performers of tomorrow."

Tickets for DOORS are $150 or $300 per seat, or tables of 10 for $1,500 or $3,000. The ticket includes pre-event cocktails, hors d'oeurves and dinner catered by Tom Douglas, and live entertainment. For more information and to secure a ticket, please RSVP to Aaron Semer at (206) 467-5510 x1117 or aarons@stgpresnts.org.
