SPT Youth Presents ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, Beginning 1/11

Lucy Maud Montgomery's beloved tale of a young girl unleashing her contagious imagination and audacious gift for the romantic upon an unsuspecting community comes to Seattle Public Theater's (SPT) Youth Program.

 

Four [free] performances January 11, 12, and 13 at the historic Bathhouse Theater on Green Lake.  Donations are encouraged, and go to support SPT's Youth Scholarship Fund.

 

When crusty Marilla Cuthbert and her brother Matthew find themselves taking in a fiery young Anne, instead of a boy they thought they were adopting, their world is turned upside down. Will the imaginative and mischievous girl win over the hearts of her reluctant new parents? Will the staunch and provincial Prince Edward Island community accept or ostracize the outspoken firebrand? Come find out in this innovative new adaptation, which uses five versatile young actors to play the hilariously unpredictable Anne Shirley.
