Seattle Center Movies at the Mural will feature the entire Harry Potter series as well as the traditional Mural opener, The Princess Bride, at dusk, Saturdays and Sundays (except July 29), July 28 – Aug. 26, at Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center.

The free movies, presented on a state-of-the-art 45-foot screen, present drama, adventure, nostalgia and fun. They make the perfect destination for a gathering of friends and family or casual weekend date. A cult classic kicks off our outdoor summer movie series for the 8th year. The schedule includes:

Saturday, July 28, The Princess Bride – PG. The beautiful Princess Buttercup and the dashing Westley must overcome staggering odds to find happiness amid six-fingered swordsmen, murderous princes, crafty Sicilians and rodents of unusual size.

Saturday, Aug. 4, Harry Potter and the Scorcerer's Stone – PG. Harry Potter has lived under the stairs at his aunt and uncle's house his whole life. But on his 11th birthday, he learns he's a powerful wizard -- with a place waiting for him at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As he learns to harness his newfound powers with the help of the school's kindly headmaster, Harry uncovers the truth about his parents' deaths -- and about the villain who's to blame.

Sunday, Aug. 5, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – PG. Harry ignores warnings not to return to school to investigate with Ron and Hermione a mysterious series of attacks.

Saturday, Aug. 11, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – PG. Harry comes face-to-face with danger yet again, this time in the form of escaped convict Sirius Black. In a bid for help, Harry turns to sympathetic Professor Lupin -- but will it be enough?

Sunday, Aug. 12, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – PG-13. Harry Potter starts a new school year at Hogwarts, competes in the treacherous Tri-Wizard Tournament and faces the evil Lord Voldemort. Friends Ron and Hermione help Harry manage the pressure, but Voldemort lurks, awaiting his chance to destroy Harry and all that he stands for.

Saturday, Aug. 18, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – PG-13. Harry Potter is stunned to find that his warnings about the return of Lord Voldemort have been ignored. Left with no choice, Harry takes matters into his own hands, training a small group of students -- dubbed "Dumbledore's Army" -- to defend themselves against the dark arts.

Sunday, Aug. 19, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – PG. Harry inadvertently discovers a mysterious book that sheds light on the sordid life of the evil Lord Voldemort. Preparing for inevitable battle, Harry and Dumbledore turn to Professor Horace Slughorn for help in pinpointing the weakness in Voldemort's forces.

Saturday, Aug. 25, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I – PG-13. The first of the two-part conclusion finds Harry walking away from his last year at Hogwarts to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes, putting an end to Voldemort's bid for immortality. But with Harry's beloved Dumbledore dead and Voldemort's unscrupulous Death Eaters on the loose, the world is more dangerous than ever.

Sunday, Aug. 26, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II – PG-13. Harry and his best friends, Ron and Hermione, continue their quest to vanquish the evil Voldemort once and for all. Just as things begin to look hopeless for the young wizards, Harry discovers a trio of magical objects that endow him with powers to rival Voldemort's formidable skills.
